The editor includes freehand drawing, an eraser for added marks, text boxes, text editing, drawn signature marks, solid/dashed/arrow lines, highlights, PNG or JPEG images, stamps, clickable links, sticky notes, and undo/redo.
Select Sign, draw your signature mark with a mouse or finger, and choose Place Signature. This adds a visual mark to the PDF; it is not a certificate-based digital signature.
Yes. Select the Edit Text tool and click on any existing text annotation. The text editor popup will reopen with the current content pre-filled so you can change the text, size, or color.
Click the Image tool in the toolbar, choose an image file from your device, then click the exact spot on the PDF where you want to place it. The image is dropped at your click position. Re-clicking the Image button when an image is pending clears the selection and lets you choose a different image.
The Stamp tool includes: Approved (green), Rejected (red), Draft (orange), Confidential (red), For Review, Void, Received, Paid, and Not Approved. Click a stamp then click the PDF to place it.
Yes. The Line tool supports solid, dashed, and arrow styles. Choose the style before drawing.
No. All annotation processing is completed without PilotPDF retaining the file. Your file is never retained by PilotPDF.
Yes. The Eraser tool lets you remove individual drawn marks. The Undo button (or Ctrl+Z) steps back through your history one action at a time, and Redo restores undone changes.
