HEIC files, page size, and orientation
The uploader accepts HEIC and HEIF files. You can select up to 100 photos in one batch, and each selected image becomes a separate PDF page in the order shown in the editor.
For a standard document, choose A4 or Letter and set portrait or landscape orientation. The photo is fitted inside the page. Match Image creates a page from each photo's pixel dimensions instead; in that mode the photo is placed at the page edges and the orientation follows the image.
A4 and Letter layouts offer None, Small, or Big margins. Margins give the photo some breathing room but also reduce the area available for the image, so use None when the page needs to be filled.
What happens to photo quality and metadata
The browser first converts each HEIC photo to JPEG at a quality setting of 0.8, then places that JPEG in the PDF. It is a practical document conversion, not a lossless pass-through, so fine detail can look a little softer after conversion. Open the PDF and check small text or important images before sending it.
The output does not carry the original EXIF data into the PDF. Information such as camera details, capture settings, and location tags should not be expected to remain available as photo metadata.
HEIC to PDF is useful when several photos need to travel as one document. Choose HEIC to JPG when you need separate, widely supported image files rather than pages in a PDF.
