What actually goes on an employee ID card

At minimum: full name, photo, and job title or department. Beyond that, common additions depend on what the badge is for:

• Building access — an employee ID number and a QR code or barcode a scanner can read.
• Public-facing roles — a company logo and brand colors, since visitors will see it.
• Healthcare or emergency-adjacent roles — a back side with an emergency contact or blood type.

Step by step
